About this Blog

This blog is a work in progress. I'm an amateur illustrator and will be digitizing bullet journal spreads by other amazing journalers, I will be posting such digital spreads on a monthly basis, as much as I can in my capacity.
This blog will also serve the purpose to document my art journey as a progress journal.

Inspiration for this Blog

The idea came to me that there would definitely be people like me who want their spreads just as creative and artistic as the BuJo community, but don't have the time to invest in the prettiness, and traditional printed planners do not appeal to them. So illustrating your spread is my attempt to bridge between the bullet journal & planner community.

I followed Amanda Rach Lee's channel's Plan With Me religiously throughout 2018 and enjoyed recreating them on my journal. However, there came this certain time period (final exams ;__;) when I was unable to set aside the time to even plan my weeks, since I did not have my spreads setup, and I was unwilling to destroy the flow of my bullet journal. I switched to an undated planner in 2019, but I found myself not using at all, it was so blank!

Day 1 - 3 Plan

Day 1 Fish Description I will be illustrating a fish splashing out of the water because of the force from the fishing rod. Fish's eyes would be marked by X's and bloodshot, and the water splashing from the pond underneath would have a tinge of red from the blood. This is to depict what the fish may be feeling at the moment of being hunted, as they would probably be sad to be dead and confused as they did not harm the fishers who are hunting them. Drawing for Beginners - 2.1

Trace your hand  PRACTICE EXERCISES 2.1 Follow this video's instructions to complete this simple volume and three-dimensional space concept exercise. **I will be taking a break from Drawtober, more details at the end** This exercise was so fun 🌈✋ I did both hands with 2 different color palettes 🎨 I've always hated tracing the hand art ever since I was a kid, since it never looked like a hand as it was so swollen. This time I tried to make it look less swollen, but it ended up looking like a twig 😅 Take away from lesson: Hand is an artist's best friend, it's a good tool for both using as a model and as a drawing tool (even though it's one of the toughest thing to draw, along with feet and horses ??) **Keeping up with drawtober along with the procrastination, depression (hello darkness my old friend) and the job was getting hard, and it just made me feel bad for not completing it. Plus, I couldn't bother to power on my Mac, and set up the graphic tablet, and ...
